hello dear readers
all good with you. I am a week behind with blogging. just busy with all sorts of things and of course also the Miss Kroeshaar assignments. The third week was really a fun week. it had a different setting and atmosphere. The third week was back to the roots with the clothes and the hair. with the hair especially everything could be combed, twisted, braided, curled and of course also just in an afro. I tried to do as much as possible with my hair and together with my aunt and nieces I transformed my aunt's living room into a small stand where you can buy clothing fabrics. There were cloths everywhere, of different colors, different sizes and different materials, with different motifs, printed, plain, but also combinations of these. I didn't know what to choose. But we figured it out, then the weather was less good outside so we had to transform the living room into a catwalk again. All in all it was fun, nice and busy, the atmosphere was good and the best of all is that the hairstyles were thought of after I was dressed. Creativity has been the key ingredient in preparing this African fashion dish and we enjoyed preparing it for you.
The most important thing here is that sometimes you just have to match your hairdo to the colors and clothes you want to wear. And just dare, even if it seems crazy. There is no accounting for taste and if you wear your hair with confidence, nothing can stand in your way.
I still had that hairdo (the whole week) of the green dress and I was walking on the street and I was addressed by 2 Creole boys of Surinamese descent. The first said something to me but I didn't understand anything because I had my earplugs in. Then I took them out of my ear and asked if they said something, they said together in chorus: Cool Hairstyle. Nobody as happy as me of course. I was so happy inside. I almost started to fly. I was proud of myself and proud of them that they also liked it by appreciating it.
so ladies, go for it, be daring and creative, wear your frizzy hair with pride, and have an african fashion day in the living room . Fun with the family and show your best side. I like to read what it has become and if you have tips for me and the other readers leave a message.
Bye, ciao, until the next blog, and don't forget to vote.
