She often wears twists with artistic cornrow patterns (kwikwiba) in the front to keep her hair out of her face. Only the twistout never stayed in place for long. After half a day, the humid climate in Suriname caused the twistout to partly change into an uncontrollable afro. Since I was also curious whether the BBD Stretch and Glass were also suitable for a twistout in a humid climate, I gave her half a jar of each to try out. From a twist to a twistout
The result: a sleek twistout that she wore for over a week, without any problems. The advantage of such a combination hairstyle with cornrows and twists, is that it offers more possibilities. One day Nicole wears her hair chicly up, decorated with one of the flowers from the webshop, the next day just loose again.
