Since the opening of the webshop, it has been a search for the best frizzy hair products for my audience. In the beginning it certainly went well, but after that it was certainly not always easy. Products for frizzy and curly hair are simply not that easy to find compared to other products.

Suppliers who could not deliver on time, the increase in shipping costs are just a few of the challenges I have had to deal with. But that is all part of maintaining a webshop. Unfortunately, I also had to stop some products because of the long delivery time. I do not want customers to have to wait for weeks for products. Service is very important to the Kroeshaar Webshop.
To solve this problem, I started offering the products I had been making for my own use for a year ago. Something I had almost sworn never to do. But hey, what has to be done, has to be done, isn't it. After all, it would just stay under the radar.
To my later pleasant surprise, the products were more than a success. And not only in the Netherlands but also in America!
So after half a year I hardly had time to make the products myself. To solve this problem I could either stop or look for a supplier. After much deliberation I chose a manufacturer who could make my own formulas in the same way. That was looking for a needle in a haystack but in the end I say with a lot of pride and tired but satisfied (drum roll): I did it!

My first samples are in. The Silky Shea is almost even smoother than when I mixed it myself and now smells absolutely fantastic with the different essential oils! If I say so myself. And of course I say it myself but fortunately it has been confirmed by a very diverse group of known and unknown testers.

After friends with different hair types had tried the products, this was the first public test in Hartford, Connecticut. There I was invited by Maria from Twist And Curves Salon to participate in the seminar Going Natural.
My first tester, the lady in the picture suffers from dry hair. She prefers to do “Wash n go”, but at the end of the day her hair is dry.
First I asked her what she thought of the scent while I held a label-less Silky Shea jar in front of her nose. Nobody wants something in their hair that doesn't smell nice. Soooooooo good! she said happily. I then enthusiastically started to untie her. She looked at me with a delighted look and said that the product felt good in her hair and wanted to buy a large jar right away. More volunteers followed after that but unfortunately I only had samples with me and not nearly enough.
It's just a matter of time, but in a month my products will be completely ready. While the first batch is being made, I'm busy with the labels.
Thanks to your feedback over the years I have been able to develop a very good product line. So look forward to the new products and keep emailing.
