Hello, I am Anne-Roos and I am 19 years old. I am white and have frizzy hair, inherited from a great-great-great-great-grandfather who married an African missionary. My frizzy hair is healthy and can do all sorts of things with it. In the meantime, I have found a good hairdresser in Leeuwarden. Unfortunately, I am the only one in the family who has healthy frizzy hair.

My sister also has frizzy hair, but it is really very thin. Because we used to use Dutch products, it kept breaking off and it didn't grow long. Because my sister also had very thin hair, she has been wearing a wig for years now, we are used to nothing else. It has now thinned out a lot, but she still has clumps of hair. I wonder if there is anything that can be done about it. What do African women do when they have such an incredibly thin head of hair? I am curious about the answer.
Greetings, Anne-Roos

Hi Anne-Roos,
Luckily you are blessed with healthy curly hair. Let's hope your sister is fine too.
The reason why frizzy hair breaks off is often because the hair is dry and therefore becomes extra brittle. Wrong products are often the cause but also the care methods we use such as combing the hair dry with a fine comb.
Unfortunately I can't tell the condition of your sister's hair from this distance. I wonder how long she's been wearing a wig. Also you say she has clumps of hair. Does that mean the rest of her hair is broken off or are there bald spots?
There is a fundamental difference between the two. Hair breakage is often caused by ourselves, bald spots can have a deeper cause. If it is only hair breakage caused by poor care methods, I can recommend the following.
Cut the hair to a length and start with a Clean Start . This will really extract all the accumulated residues and harmful substances from the hair and scalp and give them a rejuvenating boost. In addition, I advise you to choose one of the conditioners from the webshop. Read the properties carefully. Your sister knows best what her hair can use daily. Does she prefer a conditioning spray or a leave-in conditioner? Those are the differences and hopefully she will be able to make do.
Going Natural Herbal Shampoo and Detox Conditioner are definitely a step in the right direction.
I really hope this advice will help your sister. It would be nice if you keep us updated.
Odi,
Mireille
