As Miss Kroeshaar 2010 a lot has happened in a short time, and that is why I want to share that with you. From the moment I won I went from unknown to famous. I will not soon forget August 30, 2010 because that was the day that the winner of the Miss Kroeshaar election 2010 was announced online. How exciting! I just did not dare to look at my mailbox. In the end I was too curious to look. Disbelief, joy, enthusiasm are the feelings that ran through my body when I read that I had won. All the effort and fun that I experienced in those 8 weeks were rewarded by this title. And not to forget for my people behind the scenes who supported me through thick and thin. It is really unreal but it soon dawned on me because shortly after the announcement the phone rang and rang from the press from Suriname who immediately wanted an interview with me to know how the online election went and how I experienced it. The interview was broadcast on the radio in Suriname and Curacou. I also had the interview with SME Omroep which was dedicated to my experiences as a Miss kroeshaar model.
