Hi Dear Readers, fawakka, con ta bai, everything is fine, como vai, ?
Hopefully I will succeed in tying the headwraps (angisa's), I have even seen them done the Curaçao way. I will definitely try that too. I want to thank you in advance for voting and the confidence boost it gives me to participate. I find it so exciting every week. Just do your best, right. I especially want to thank my family members for their support and interest in every assignment; thanks mom, dad, aunts and uncles, cousins and brothers and sisters, friends and not to forget the grandparents, because they are of course also following along from their chairs.
The week of the wraps, my uncle asked if he could also get them at the Mac, that funny guy. It was a nice experience that will hopefully encourage many to wear a headscarf in his/her own way. You will definitely have muscular arms, so another physical challenge 🙂 :). Especially, to go back a bit, because I know that those Surinamese women (mothers) can convey messages very well without using words. Apart from the angisas with meanings, they can also indicate very well with their eyes what they feel and think and what the consequences will be. The facial expression with those eyes when you don't listen as a child. Hmm. you can listen better, But they still love us just as much, you know. In short, the messages were well received, this week, and if there are any tips, please let me know, and... don't forget to keep reading, watching, trying, recording and voting.
Gr and see you soon, I'm now going on to the next assignment. Thanks doeiiiiii, ciao, laters, odi (how do you say this in Papiamentu)
