Exactly eight weeks after I first had my loc extensions put in, I was back at Quincy to have my “locs-without-obligation” twisted. After she had twisted my hair in a jiffy, she created this hairstyle. I have to say that I was extremely happy with these updo locs.

When caring for extensions, it is important to use the Scalp Conditioning Spray to care for the scalp and a good shampoo such as the Herbal Shampoo that does not leave any product residue.
I have always admired these types of hairstyles and I never thought it possible that I would be able to wear them myself because you need long grown-out dreadlocks for this. It really took some getting used to, but I felt like a true queen. The power of dreadlocks. Now I really understand why those women always look so regal.
Because the new hair growth has been turned, you can no longer see that the locs are not real. The transition from my hair to the extension is almost invisible.

Decorated with Cowrie Shells for a slightly different look.
The care is super easy. That is why these extensions are also called locs without commitment. Where you really have to have a lot of patience when starting real locs in the beginning phase to get the hair nice and curled, you don't have to worry about that at all with these extensions.
The only thing you need to be careful of is the buildup of dirt and product residue. That means you shouldn't use conditioners and such that leave residue. Stick to natural shampoos and pure oils.

The only products I used in between were the Scalp Conditioning Spray used to care for the scalp and also the Herbal Shampoo to wash my hair. After washing I always used the scalp conditioning oil.

Now I hope that you too can choose the perfect hairstyle for the holidays. With this I wish you incredibly happy holidays and a fantastic 2010!
