Blonde krullen

What can I do with my blonde curly hair?

M. Liong

Hello, Finally found a site on the internet about frizzy hair, but now I don't really know if it is something for me. Hence this email. I am a white woman with very frizzy/curly hair. It is exactly in between. Hairdressers can't do anything with my hair and neither can I.

Blonde krullen I used to have it (easily) short. Then I could at least do something with it. That is: lots of hairspray and hot blow dryer. Then I could almost straighten it for a few hours. A little bit of humidity and it was "poof" with my hair again.

But now I have it long again and I don't have the time to spend 2 hours in the morning messing with my hair only to find out that it's worthless.

I often wear it (easily) in a ponytail now, but that doesn't look good either. It's really a frizzy fluff ball...
I use a lot of fat (Brylcream), but also Palmerâs and sometimes even Almond oil. But I just can't get those curls nice.

I also have the problem that the longer my hair gets, the more it curls, so much so that it often curls completely into a knot. My hair is also almost straight when it is wet, so I never know how my hair is going to dry. The hairdresser is always deceived by this, because apparently my hair is so easy when wet… That was one of the many reasons that I let my hair grow long again, so that I never had to go to those hairdressers again. They don't understand it anyway.

I still have problems with unwanted frizz, so I can never wear it loose. A little humidity or a lot of wind and it happens again. I also want a nice haircut and I really like the haircuts on kroeshaar.com.

I saw on the site about Twist Out. Seems really nice, but I don't know if it will work with my hair because I don't have 100% frizzy hair. I feel so in between... The regular hairdresser can't do anything with me and I'm afraid the Afro hairdresser can't do anything with me either...

Hi Monica,

You don't have to apologize. The longer the story the better because the more background the better I can give advice.

Let me start by saying that your problem is not unknown. You are definitely not alone. So there is a solution. Curly Girl, also a white woman with curly hair, has written a book about it, but Teri LaFlesh has also recently written a very nice book “Curly like me”, she is on the jury of America's Next Natural Model . Teri now has beautiful curls but that used to be different. In her book she describes her search for the right hair care.

I think a Twist Out with your hair type should work but what I recommend you before you try the Curly Twistout Hair Cream is to wash your hair with the Going Natural Herbal Shampoo . You will immediately experience the difference with other products. Your curls will be less frizzy and your hair will feel soft. Even better is to do the full treatment with the Clean Start . In the picture a customer of kroeshaar.com webshop who is very satisfied with the products.

If you brush or comb the Curly Twistout Hair Milk through your washed hair you will see that beautiful tight curls form. To be sure I would also order the Silky Shea hair butter and Herbal Gel, all together in a value package is the Curly Twist Out Combo. Very suitable to keep the curls beautiful, it depends on what your curls respond better to.

A super easy and time saving method is to do twists or buns in the evening before going to bed using any of the products or combinations from the Curly Twist Out Combo. You don't have to do any small twists at all. See my My First Hair video for a super easy Twist Out in curly hair for detailed instructions.

Good luck and of course I would like to see it work out.
