Standing under the shower for hours to wash your hair is wonderful, but you don't always feel like it and especially don't have time for it. Since I don't always have the patience for it either, I have found the perfect way to wash hair. Whether you have loose frizzy hair, curls, rasta or box braids, it applies to all types of Black Hair.

Standing under the shower for hours to wash your hair is wonderful, but you don't always feel like it and especially don't have time for it. Since I don't always have the patience for it either, I have found the perfect way to wash hair. Whether you have loose frizzy hair, curls, rasta or box braids, it applies to all types of Black Hair.
Of course you need a shampoo. Although I was the first to write about it, I am no longer an advocate of co-washes, washing with conditioners. The reason is that people keep doing this, without washing their hair properly once a month. Then conditioner residues only build up and that is not good for the hair. Build-up residues suffocate the hair. Especially if you wear braids.
You will also need a towel, a spray bottle, and the loc glove , yes, even if you don't have locs, this one is super handy. Stroking removes accumulated residue and dries water-retaining curls in half the time.
Fill the spray bottle three quarters full with water, preferably alkaline water or spring water pH neutral. Fill with the Going Natural Herbal shampoo and make sure the two mix well by turning the bottle up and down. Shaking is not recommended because the shampoo will foam.
Then put the towel around your shoulders and get started. If you have a lot of frizzy hair or are a curly head, it is useful if you divide the hair into 6 to 12 parts. Spray the shampoo water generously on hair and scalp. This, already gives a soooo nice feeling. This feels wonderful on the scalp, really. It is a treatment in itself.
If you just have loose hair, do this per section. When you are done spraying, run the loc glove through the hair. This is to distribute the shampoo evenly through the hair. When a section is completely full of shampoo water, twist it into a twist and put it in the base. Do this until all sections are done. You can also do this of course if you have locs or braids. It makes the process even easier and more organized. You know that you are not missing any pieces of hair.
When your hair is completely shampooed, give your scalp a lovely massage and do something else for 20 minutes. Wash dishes, sweep, it doesn't matter, but use the time usefully while the shampoo is soaking in. Of course, you can also relax or meditate.
After this it is time to wash the shampoo out of the hair. Rinse the loc glove so that it is free of shampoo and use it again in the shower to wash the shampoo out of the hair per section. Keep the sections if you have loose hair. Now you can condition in the same way.
This only applies to loose hair, if you are wearing braids or locs you can skip this step.
Take a section of hair, add Going Natural Deep conditioner , comb the conditioner through the hair with a large tooth comb and then move on to the next section. Once all the sections are done, you can start rinsing the first section.
Once your hair is thoroughly washed and conditioner and shampoo are rinsed out, place a towel over your hair. Leave it for 10-20 minutes to absorb excess water. Once your hair is towel dried, use your loc glove to absorb even more water and any shampoo and conditioner residue. If you have two loc gloves, it’s easier to use a dry one. You’ll notice that your hair will dry out very quickly.
The last step, especially if you have locs or braids, spraying Tineke's Healthy Hair Growth Spray on the scalp, is very important. It ensures that the scalp immediately receives the right elements that stimulate healthy hair growth. It smells delicious and feels wonderfully refreshing.
