I saw this photo on Facebook asking for help and advice. After six weeks of braiding this was the result.
Of course this was anything but the desired result. Not only is it way too much hair loss, from her story I could gather that she had simply pulled the braids out of her hair. That is of course the biggest mistake you can make.
False hair, extensions, crochet braids, are braided, intertwined with your own natural hair. If you pull out the braid, your own hair comes with it and not only that, you have to be careful that the hair roots do not come with it. If that happens, you can forget that your hair will ever grow there again.
