Finally!

Finally a book about frizzy hair in Dutch. When I was growing up in The Hague in the sixties, the hairdresser didn't know what to do with my hair. After reading this book, he did. Fortunately, there are now many black hair hairdressers, but the book Frizzy Hair gives readers a very good background to express their wishes to the hairdresser. It is very easy to read and very informative, so I am glad I bought the book.

Not just for people with frizzy hair

This book shows practically and clearly what is possible with frizzy hair. It provides brief information about the history of frizzy hair and an anatomy lesson about how hair is put together, but above all: it shows you how you can do certain hairstyles yourself (or have them done) and how you can care for your hair. It provides a good basis from which you can delve further into African hairstyles. Also very suitable for people who do not have frizzy hair (like myself) and want to know more about these beautiful hairstyles; people with straight or just curly hair can also apply this knowledge.

* Knowledge is power *

With Kroeshaar the gap between reality and perception is finally closed. This book shows you the disadvantages of chemical treatments in advance. The author then goes a step further and shows you how to add 'chemistry' to your hairstyle without chemicals.
