Traditional handmade pangi from Maroon women in Suriname

This is a unique traditional handmade piece of clothing, made by Maroon women from Suriname. These garments are called Pangi.

No two pangi's are alike, so please note that you will receive a unique pangi that may look slightly different from the one pictured. It is handmade and unique.

The dimensions are 19.3 x 10.7 meters. You can wrap it around your body as a skirt, top or as a headscarf.

These pangi's are shipped directly from Suriname and support the hands and craft of Maroon women in the villages. It is usually faster, but please allow 3 weeks for delivery.
