My name is Mireille Liong-A-Kong. As a Social Entrepreneur and Drs. in Information Technology, I started the Kroeshaar site and Webshop in 2002 to make hair care easier for frizzy people like me.
My hair, which had broken off down to the scalp, was the reason to find out what was wrong with (my?) frizzy hair.
Desperate at the prospect of being stuck with weaves for the rest of my life, I decided to learn everything, absolutely everything, I needed to know about caring for afro hair. Whatever the case, I wanted my own healthy hair back.
It became a wonderful personal expedition that literally brought me closer to my “roots”.
What I learned is in the book “Naturally Frizzy, from chemically straight to naturally frizzy hair” and the rest of my experience is literally in the jars of the Going Natural Hair Products line.
After a lot of research and experimenting, I learned which natural ingredients are best for frizzy hair. Not only to give the little curls a shine from the outside, but also to optimally nourish the hair from the inside, so that every curl can flourish beautifully.
