Nicole has been wearing traditional dreadlocks for 19 years, the last three freeformed. I myself have been wearing braidlocs for 5 years now and I can tell you everything from the mistakes I made to how to best care for your hair.
Kids, boys and girls
If you have any questions about children and locs, you can ask them too. The experienced loctitian loc'd her daughter's hair when she was 5 years young. Jalyssa now 13 years old with braidlocs down to her shoulders, is happy with her hair and sometimes does her shows.
Braidlocs are in all cases, for several reasons, a much better choice for kids than false braids. Locs are namely the most natural way to let frizzy hair grow undisturbed long. Braiding and taking out false hair is stressful for any hair, let alone that of a child.
