Dear Madam, I have a question. Two weeks ago I shaved my hair (shoulder length, straightened) to about 0.5 cm. I want to grow my natural hair. I don't really know what to do in the morning when I get up to go to work. Some say I should wet it and then oil it?

I ordered the shea butter, shampoo and no more knots myself. Can you tell me what I can best use as daily care, so that I nourish my hair every day?
I also often notice that I have pain in my scalp. I am a half-blood myself and have different types of hair. The back (neck) is actually smooth hair, the sides are curly and where it hurts on my crown is really afro hair. HELP.
Thanks in advance for your effort.
Daniella

Dear Daniella,
Thank you for your question to kroeshaar.com.
Let me compliment you on shaving off your shoulder length relaxed hair. Not many women have the courage to do that. Luckily you do. Did you feel liberated too?
At this length, hair care is actually easiest. You can indeed shower with your hair every day if you want. You can spray the No More Knots on both dry and towel-dried hair. With the Knots Teezer you can then easily brush your curls into shape. As a finishing touch I would recommend the Silky Shea Hair Butter. It gives the curls a nice tight shape so that they stay in place all day long. Washing once a week seems sufficient to me and in addition a conditioner is always recommended.
Scalp pain is a more complicated issue. Not only can it have different causes, it also varies from person to person.
I myself had especially when I relaxed pain on the scalp. Not really unbearable pain but when I pressed on a certain spot I felt that it was sensitive. That was the crown, the place where my hair always broke off after a relaxing session.
When I went frizzy I had it at first too but it gradually became less. What I understand is that in my case it was a combination of accumulated product residue and tension on my scalp. The tension can be caused by stress or a bad posture.
Massaging the scalp very simply often makes the scalp much less tense. Just press the fingertips on that spot and release. If you repeat this a few times you will probably feel a difference. Try to do this at least once a day and of course you should also keep the scalp clean.
I'm not saying this to upsell you but I can highly recommend the Clean Start because this combination really sets the scene for a great start to any transformation and adds even more super minerals that make your hair and scalp flourish.
Good luck with your transformation and keep us posted if you like.
