The very first headwrap competition took place during the Kroeshaar & Keti Koti Dei.

During the event, Danitsha and Moreen gave a demonstration. One wore a plain burgundy Magic Headwrap, the other one with a beautiful pattern: the Blue Sun. What was particularly striking? Danitsha had recently shaved her hair short, while Moreen had been wearing locs for eight years. And yet, the wrap looked stunning on both of them. The Magic Headwrap Challenge
Two brave women from the audience spontaneously volunteered to take on the challenge. They had never seen the wrap before, but decided to recreate the styles from the demonstration. I also showed my favorite style: my daily basic wrap. The day after
And then the surprise: the next day, at the opening ceremony of Keti Koti Leeuwarden, I spotted two beautiful women wearing the Magic Headwrap – tied their way. So lovely to see how quickly it was picked up and worn with flair. That's what you do it for.
