Robert Vuistje about Frizzy Hair
If you want to know what Robert Vuistje and other interesting Dutch people think about African hair, you would do well to visit the Kroeshaar days on September 17 and 18 at No Limit in Amsterdam South-East.

In the weekend in which the beauty of the unique hair type is central, almost everything is discussed. Apart from Mireille Liong-A-Kong, owner of kroeshaar.com, coming over from New York especially to give a personal and do-it-yourself frizzy hair workshop, there will also be a demonstration of hair care and tying headscarves on September 17. The day will end with a dazzling hair show that will show hairstyles by the most prominent frizzy hair stylists in the Netherlands, Raoul and Anoeska.

The expectations for September 18 are no less high. In addition to interesting workshops, for the first time in Dutch history, frizzy hair will be discussed so openly by such a diverse panel. In addition to Robert Vuistje, author of “Allemaal nette mensen”, giving his opinion on the American film Beautiful the documentary, Jasmine Sendar, Guus Pengel, John Goring, Jeanine Valeriano, Anne-Rose Abendanon Bruinendaal and Agnes Hofman will also be allowed to speak about the sensitive subject of frizzy hair. The questions “Is frizzy hair acceptable?” and “How do we experience frizzy hair?” will be central.

The event will conclude with the election and crowning of Miss Kroeshaar 2011.
