Satcha met haar nicht als assistente

Kroeshaar.com regularly receives requests to give workshops. For example, at the beginning of this year, a request came in from Petra Wilbrink, mother of an adopted child from Nigeria. She wrote:

Hello Mireille,

First of all I would like to compliment you on your very nice site.
I have a question. Early July we want to organize a fun weekend for parents and children who have been adopted from Nigeria.
Every year we get together to chat and a standard topic is of course the hair. That is why we think it would be nice to organize a kind of workshop about it during this weekend. Many of us have bought your book, but a workshop about how and what with this beautiful hair, where the basic principles of a few hairstyles are demonstrated and of course a product demonstration, seems very nice to us. I look forward to your answer with great anticipation.
Kind regards, Petra Wilbrink

Unfortunately I couldn't give the workshop myself, but luckily Satcha had just emailed me. Thanks to the frizzy portrait, she has not only become a frizzy celebrity who is recognized everywhere, she is also asked by the entire family to do hair. Well, with that radiant head of frizzy hair, Satcha is of course a walking advertisement herself. My decision was quickly made when Satcha was willing to reveal her secrets in the form of a workshop. And as expected, the workshop was a great success. I can't think of a better replacement.

There were about 33 families with 52 children between the ages of 1 and 11, all with burning questions about frizzy hair. Satcha came, saw and conquered. Satcha, herself a mother of Sienna, a 2-year-old daughter, easily got along with the children. In a pleasant way she showed that combing frizzy hair does not have to be painful. She also demonstrated some basic hairstyles and showed how to best use the products. The biggest challenge were the children whose hair had not been combed in 3 years. She says about that: “I had never experienced that before so I said: listen I can try something, but I don't know if it will work. I think the hair will have to be cut off completely. Then I took Shea butter, some water and guess what? The brush glided right through. It was like a miracle! The people were so incredibly enthusiastic that I enjoyed it myself. It was really so much fun!”

Combing curly hair doesn't have to hurt, even if it hasn't been combed for a while

Nico, co-organizer of the Nigeria Reunion, sent the following email:

The workshops were very well received.
They turned out to be more necessary than expected because many families still know too little about frizzy hair and how to care for it.
Satcha and her sister did a great job. There was a lot of interest and the products flew off the shelves. For us a successful day and if we want another workshop we have your address.

Thank you very much and see you soon
Nico

All in all a very successful day and kroeshaar.com is very happy that she was able to initiate this successful workshop. All praise goes to Satcha of course. In the near future she will give more workshops in Amsterdam and surroundings, so keep an eye on the site.
