Winning Talent Night is quite an achievement in itself. To also be in the finals of Amateur Night in Apollo is truly amazing.
For those who have no idea what Amateur Night is, it is almost the same as the Talent Night in the Netherlands. This is derived from the Amateur Night that has been held in the historic Apollo theater in New York since 1934. Every Wednesday evening, strangers are allowed to show their talents while the audience decides who will make it to the finals. There is no room to get in or correct a mistake because the audience is not easy. It can be over within 10 seconds.
Not for Sabrina. She came saw and conquered with a not so easy number Day and Night by Ray Charles. Without her own audience, mind you. In addition, she also performed as a guest in a popular restaurant called Boom, in Manhattan.
